Exceeding Expectations - Shout Out To Freedom Boat Club

Hello, everyone, this is Scotty with another story of Spectacular Service.

On Saturday or Sunday, I like to take a boat out for a ride on the lake. Now I don't own a boat, however, I am part of Freedom Boat Club, and usually when I arrive on Saturday or Sunday morning at about 9 o'clock the manager, well he's more of a leader, Thomas is always at my car before it is even parked.

Thomas is always very helpful to ask if I need any help carrying the coolers to the boat which I always take him up on that offer. Once we get to the boat Thomas is kind enough to give me a complimentary tour of the boat to make sure everything checks out before I take off.

While we're doing that Thomas always talks to me about “Hey Scotty how was your week, what did you do, can you tell us any cool stories about your travels?” and Thomas and his team do this every time to build a relationship and it really makes me feel great inside. Once we bring the boat back, Thomas and his team do the same thing they ask how the boat ride was and they also ask, “Hey is there anything that we can do to make it more enjoyable the next time?”

Great service and what I noticed is that Thomas and his team engage a client in things that are important to them. They get them talking about how their week was, where they traveled, and this is great to build a relationship.

They also anticipate the client's needs and in almost every instance they exceed the client’s expectations. Thomas, I want to say thank you to yourself your team, and the entire freedom boat club for delivering spectacular service.
